In our one God, eternal and existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, is found infinite Love. He reaches out to all of us and calls us to Himself. John 10:30, John 14:25
Jesus Christ is God, from His virgin birth, lived a sinless life, performed miracles here on earth and by His death alone, paid for our sin through His shed blood, and He rose from the grave and ascended to the right hand of the Father. He will return to us in power and glory to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:1-5
The Holy Spirit, the third member of the Trinity, lives within Christians at the moment of salvation, convicts us of us of sin, helps us learn God’s truths, reminds us of Jesus’ Words, seals us so that we belong to God forever and enables us to live godly lives.
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” 2 Corinthians 3:17
The Bible is the supreme source for truth, the true guide for faith and life and contains the answers for our problems.
Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105
Mankind is created in the image of God but fell through sin and are separated from God by it. Apart from Jesus Christ, all men and women have inherited a sinful nature because of the fall. We are unable to save ourselves from the death penalty attached to sin but salvation is made possible by Jesus Christ’s death. There is nothing we do to earn this free gift from God.
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is Christ Jesus, Romans 3:23-24
