A Battle Book starts with getting a group together or meeting individually. Starting with a 3-ring half-size binder, you add dividers from a wide variety of paper designs. These are your first sections of the book which include worship, confession, self and listening.
To all that, add (all provided by me), preprinted prayer pages, notebook paper for each section, a pocket page – decorated with washi tape, several bookmarks, a mini-notebook and your choice of a front cover.
Now you are wondering how do you use a Battle Book.
A Battle Book helps you make your prayers more focused and persistent. You pray through each section, some daily and some weekly. The printed pages give you ideas of who and what to pray for.
In my own book, I have followed the examples taught in Fervent by Priscilla Shirer. You prepare pages for different sections, such as yourself and for your loved ones. You find Scripture and write prayers for each one.
Now back to scheduling a build party or reading more about prayer.
